If you have to consume these food items, limit yourself to only one serving per day. A single serving of these food items puts you on the 300 mg quota. Anything more than that is not beneficial as you'll go over what is required.
This means that if you had eggs for breakfast, try not to eat meat, be it red meat or white meat, for the rest of the day. You can take vegetables instead or any other food items. It is better if you take cereals and oats for breakfast instead of other foods high cholesterol content.
Anything in excess is not good. If you know that you have developed some sort of a heart problem or any other related disease due to cholesterol, it is but important that you start to watch what you eat. Cholesterol is present in almost all types of food items today. If you have to get processed foods from the grocery shelf, read the label and get the ones that says "Cholesterol-free" or "Fat-free". While this doesn't assure you that there's absolutely no cholesterol or fats included in that particular food item, you can at least be sure that its content is drastically reduced to almost nothing.
